About
House of Linnaea is named as a nod to the LInnaean system of biological taxonomy- or how we traditionally group living organisms. My background is in field botany and wildlife work and House of Linnaea is where I play to find the art of science, and use science to make art. It began as a concept of specimen preservation and what I call "Wearable Herbaria" and has grown to include sculptural elements where I try to express a surreal take on natural processes. Life cycles are a major theme of my work.
